No longer a filler flower

Baby's Breath Rustic BouquetWhen you hear delicate and ethereal, what do you think of? I think of gypsophilia, more commonly known as baby’s breath. For many years baby’s breath has been considered a filler flower, but this is no longer the case. Baby’s breath is taking center stage and it’s about time. It has such an effervescent quality that no other flower can translate and works beautifully for a wedding. Its versatility allows it to look great in a rustic setting, as well as, a more modern one. Baby’s breath can be seen in floral crowns, bouquets, centerpieces…I could go on. Whether you incorporate baby’s breath or let it reign at your wedding, it will look gorgeous. Lovely Advice

The Texas heat is dreadful this time of year. Many times brides overlook the importance of providing their guests with refreshments when having an outdoor ceremony. Keep in mind your guests are awaiting your walk down the aisle, so they have been sitting in the sun for quite some time. A hot summer day or even a warm day can make anyone thirsty.

I suggest creating a water station. The water station can be a simple designated area or a uniquely designed vignette. For instance, a couple of galvanized tubs filled with bottled water wrapped in personalized labels, a rustic wood table topped with jugs filled with fruit infused waters or an adorable lemonade stand. For a more extravagant touch you can hire waiters to deliver drinks to your guests, they will enjoy being catered to.

Think outside the box and have fun with it. Your guests will appreciate this very considerate gesture.
