Ombre can be translated into wedding details in a few ways. The first, an object is washed with a particular color, but the color’s intensity varies, therefore, it begins at its lightest and gradually becomes darker or vis versa. For example, the cakes in the montages below.

The second, many of one particular object have one color in common, but the color intensity varies and as a group they create an ombre effect. For example the pink macarons and aqua cupcakes, above.

The third, several of one particular object are similar in color, but vary in the intensity and are gathered in no particular order. For example the peach and purple bouquets from above. They vary in the shades of peach and purple, but are arranged in a way that does not create a distinct visual ombre effect.
Hey Lovelies, it’s Tuesday! You know what that means…Trending Now. Today I have two trends to share today. They have been in the blogosphere all week long and I feel like they are both equally big trends.
The first trend is Midnight Blue + Gold Weddings. OMG this trend has really got me excited. This color palette is so dreamy, romantic, and sophisticated and it is easy to fall head over heels in love with it.

The second trend is Ombre…this trend is amazing. I love the color gradation and it looks incredible when applied to wedding details, for instance, your wedding cake, invitations, and bridesmaid dresses, just to name a few.
Today’s cocktail is Moulin Rouge.
My favorite movie is Moulin Rouge, so this drink automatically caught my attention purely because of its name. Its ingredients are quite unique and I bet it is DE-LISH!
You can find this and other cocktails in THE COCKTAIL 200 Fabulous Drinks by Jane Rocca.
