Beachy Inspiration!

For the past couple of days we have had some cold and gloomy weather in the Rio Grande Valley, so I thought I would lighten the mood with some sunny inspiration.

Who wouldn’t love a wedding on a tropical island…it’s so romantic and dreamy. For those who have had or are planning a wedding on a tropical island, one AWESOME and, two LUCK-Y! But sadly, many of us don’t have the means for such a wedding. Luckily, those who live in the Rio Grande Valley (and those who live elsewhere) can have a tropical island/beach wedding without the price tag. South Padre Island offers sandy beaches, an intimate atmosphere (during the off season), luxury hotels, beach activities etc., just as the tropical islands. You have the opportunity to exchange vows right on the beach or overlooking the beach. I have had the opportunity to film weddings right on the beach and it is incredible, very romantic. You have the luxury of being close to home, but feeling like you are in another place. If you are looking for an alternative to a destination wedding, consider South Padre Island.

Gold Glitter Mason Jars

I can’t get enough of these. One they are super easy to make (gather any glass jars you have saved up, spray paint them in gold, then glitter part or all of the jar) and two they make great containers. They look amazing filled with beautiful blooms.
