Day 14 – Have a dance

DAY14
DAY 14 Play a favorite slow song or turn on the radio and have a dance.

When is the last time you all slow danced? And I don’t mean at a wedding or special event. Rather when was the last time you all shared a dance in private? A slow dance in public varies greatly from one in private. While in public you are allowed a certain amount of acceptable affection, and if you veer off of what is acceptable you run the risk of receiving nasty glares and disapproving looks. But in the privacy of your home you can hold one another more closely, more passionately, more intensely without worry. So grab your partner tightly, and have an unforgettable dance.

Our Journey – Day 13

There could not have been a more perfect night for a stroll than yesterday. We took our stroll in the evening, so we had the beautiful starry night above us, the most wonderful breeze and an incredible stillness and quiet. Our neighborhood shuts down by 7pm and it is so quiet you can hear a pin drop. It’s a stillness and quiet that makes you feel like you are the only people on earth. It was a great night of deep conversation and an abundance of laughter.

Day 13 – Take a leisurely stroll

DAY13
DAY 13 After dinner, take a leisurely stroll together and take the opportunity to talk about your day.

It’s important to take a genuine interest in one anther’s day. So leave your electronic devices in your pocket and dedicate your full attention to the conversation. Everywhere I go I see couples and families glued to their electronic devices, losing precious together time. How can one have a real conversation with one or both parties fixated on their phones, i pads, laptops, etc. I know many of us conduct our business through our electronic devices (I myself conduct all of my business via phone, computer, and tablet), but quality time must be put aside for loved ones. And it doesn’t have to be a great deal of time, dedicating a few minutes of uninterrupted together time will surely be appreciated by your loved ones.
